The Mexican-American War was fought over a large portion of North American territory, but the Marine Corps' involvement could be divided into two areas - the East Coast of Mexico and the West Coast of North America. This episode explores the conflicts in Eastern Mexico, and we'll follow the Marines, Army, and Navy as they make their way to critical Mexican ports. We end with the siege of Veracruz and the Marines preparing for Chapultepec.
